God Given Rights and Those That Are Just Made Up by Evil Men (Part 1)

"We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." (Declaration of Independence)

The Declaration of Independence is Quite Clear on what a God Given Right Is. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. But the Bill of Rights clarifies the matter even more. In the Bill of Rights we find the following:


  1. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

Simply stated men are free to follow whatever religious practices they see fit, as long as it doesn’t deprive someone of their Life, Freedom or Property by Force or deception. In other words, as long as it doesn’t violate another person’s rights. 

Congress cannot regulate the free exercise of a religion. Period!


2. (Congress shall Make No Law) abridging the Freedom of Speech.  


The concept is designed to protect the exchange of ideas. This means pointing out the flaws in an existing system or individual and proposing solutions. Big government protects the status quo and this stops progress! If discussion is not tolerated your Right to Free Speech is being violated.  

For example, idiots wanting people to be prosecuted for criticizing the fad of the day (IE: Global Warming or som e other Politically Correct moronic scheme) are in fact violating your rights.


3. (Congress shall Make No Law) abridging the Freedom of the Press. 


Under the Bill of Rights, there is no such thing as fake news. There are no laws forbidding citizen journalism or Topics critical of anyone or anything. In fact, anyone operating a Public Forum, subsidized in whole or in part by the taxpayer, is required to respect this Right. Since the Internet itself is funded by the US Taxpayer, those that host their sites on it are violating the Rights of those that they Censor. The same can be said of search engines that play political favorites.

In the words of Patrick Henry, “I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”


The Founders believed in the Free Marketplace of Ideas.  The Concept is you never know where the next great idea will come from. Tyrannical Regimes always use censorship to silence political opponents. The result is always the end to ALL progress and innovation.   More in the Next Article
