The Act of Confessing your sins to a Mormon Bishop is no different than confessing your sins to a Catholic Priest. Neither one has the power to forgive you for and in behalf of God. We can only recieve a remittance of sin through Jesus Christ. Only through Jesus Christ can we approach the Father.
